When starting the process of installing your metallic epoxy flooring first you have to clean and inspect the flooring. When inspecting the flooring it is important to look for any type of damage like cracks, chipping, and flaking. Once you find any type of damage you can fix these issues to prepare for the prep work. This prep work includes grinding the surface with a coarse diamond grinding wheel. Once this preparation is complete it is time to mix the epoxy. At this point, the metallic pigments are added in giving the signature metallic look of this flooring. Once the mixture is ready, several layers are applied until the desired thickness is achieved including the topcoat. Once all layers are applied the flooring is allowed to cure for 72 hours.
